School Year: 2012-2013. Back for another school year. Students have been working on the wiring system to get all of the running lights working. They have also installed a fan to cool the controller, installed a digital voltage meter to monitor the battery charge and they installed two on board battery chargers allowing for easy and quick charging of the 12v and the 120v electrical systems.

The vehicle was weighed and the total weight of the vehicle is 2280 lbs. That is approximately 100 lbs. more than the original factory weight of the vehicle.

The EV was taken on a road test and vehicle performed nicely on city streets and highway 50. It is estimated that the batteries will provide 45+ miles of range. More testing will be completed in the future and updates will be posted on range.
